Our client approached 1Horizon Design & Build with plans to improve and extend their property on Park Avenue, Northampton.
The existing side extension and conservatory no longer suited the needs of the home, so the project involved demolishing both structures and replacing them with a new single-storey rear extension.
The aim was to create a more practical addition to the property while making better use of the available space and improving how the new extension connected with the existing home.

What We Did
The first stage of the project involved carefully demolishing the existing side extension and conservatory, preparing the property for the new construction works.
Once the existing structures had been removed, work began on the new single-storey rear extension.
The extension was designed to increase the usable footprint of the property while creating a more permanent and functional addition to the home. Care was taken throughout the build to ensure the new structure worked cohesively with the existing property.
By replacing the previous conservatory and side extension with one purpose-built rear extension, the project provided the homeowners with a more practical use of the available space and a cleaner overall layout.
